ICF are filled with concrete and are dry stacked without using mortar. They are energy efficient unbreakable concrete walls. These forms are somewhat like Lego blocks. Interior or exterior walls are formed by stacking the ICFs. Unbreakable rebar and steel is then added to the openings and finally concrete is plumbed in to form the fundamental constituent of the walls.
Buildings made from ICF are more quite, energy efficient and comfortable than the traditional buildings. They also have the reputation of providing minimal or no air leeks and thus preventing heat loss. They also contain qualities like thermal resistance and high sound absorption.

I’m still searching for a cabinet that would fit nicely in our office. When browsing around I stumbled upon these Totem cabinets designed by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen for the Dutch company Pastoe. I’m really in love now as cubes are available in a wide range of colors…

In early 2005, three men lived quietly in Trousdale County, Tennessee. They were polite, if a little bit antisocial, preferring not to spend much time associating with their neighbors, and frequently traveling out of town. They owned a beautiful A-Frame house, complete with an elaborate entrance gate that had an intercom system. From outside, the $1 million dollar house appeared to be the ideal vacation home, with stylish swooping angles and large picture windows.
